The Development
The School is located on John Gorton Drive in Wright, just down from Stromlo Forest Park and Stromlo Leisure Centre.
Upon completion, the new school, established on the 56,000 sqm site at Block 6, Section 51 Wright, will welcome over 1,800 students across early learning to Year 12. The design of the new school will be focused on sustainability and will be a unique vertical design that responds to the existing landscape. The target is also to be one of the first zero energy certified school’s in Australia, under the International Living Future Institute’s certification program.
The proposed development summary for the new School includes the following:
120 place Early Learning Centre;
88 place Kindergarten;
600 places for Year 1 to Year 6 Primary Schools Places;
700 places for Year 7 to Year 10 Secondary School places; and
350 places for Year 11 and Year 12 College Schools places.

Project Stages
Stromlo Forest Anglican College is proposed to be delivered in six (6) stages with the first commencement of operations at the beginning of the 2026 academic calendar (Day one term one). Each stage of development has been considered with students, staff, and the community in mind.
